Hi, I’m Jane.
Based in Berlin, Germany, I work with theatres, artists, and cultural institutions to tell stories through photography.
My journey into working as a photographer started at Brücks Club, a cultural night club venue in Osnabrück, where I first picked up a camera to pay my rent and began documenting the people, moments, and stories around me. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a passion for documentary photography and visual storytelling.

Today, I mainly work in theatre and event photography and artist portraits. I’m fascinated by creative processes, the atmosphere behind the scenes, and the people who bring art to life. Whether I’m photographing a performance, rehearsals, or creating portraits, I aim to capture honest moments that feel authentic and personal.

My approach is quiet and observant. Rather than directing too much, I prefer to create space for genuine interactions and emotions to unfold naturally. The result is imagery that reflects people and places as they are — without unnecessary staging or distraction - except it’s the stage ;)
